Boynton Beach Gets a New Live Music Venue!
It’s been awhile since any new Live Music venues opened in Boynton Beach. This week we’re welcoming The Venu to our Live Music Calendar! They opened with a bang yesterday with the Joel DaSilva Trio for Happy Hour followed by the Lauren Mitchell Band! Tonight it’s a free show with JM and the Sweets, and next Friday it’s Crazy Fingers, with Turnstiles, Matt Schoefield, and a lot more on their schedule. Check them out in the Canyon Town Center just past the Turnpike on Boynton Beach Blvd.

SunFest and More!
It’s SunFest Week, and a lot more! $54 Admission gets you in to see local favorites like The String Assassins and Paul Anthony and the Reggae Souljahs along with with some big name acts like 311, Sublime, and Pitbull – visit our Calendar for a whole list. Too pricey? There’s a lot of FREE Live Music in South County, especially on Cinco de Mayo! Check out the Big Jam Theory at The Fish Depot in Boynton, the Tom Jackson Band at Boston’s in Delray, Joel DaSilva and the Midnight Howl at The Biergarten in Boca!

Largest Arts and Crafts Festival in the Southeast United States!
It’s the annual Delray Affair along Atlantic Avenue! Of course there’s Live Music, including performances by Jason Colannino, Steven Vincent, Bradley Brown, Adam Fine, Chris Monteleone, Shauna Sweeney, the Sosos, and Taylor Road. How big is it? 12 blocks long with over 600 artists and vendors! Free Admission, too. It runs from 10 AM to 6 PM Friday and Saturday, and wraps up 5 PM Sunday.
Visitors can park at the following garages for $5:
- County Parking Garage – West Atlantic Avenue; next to Courthouse/behind library
- Parking Garage – Old School Square
- City Hall – City Attorney’s office & grass lot

Irish Food, Green Beer, and Live Music this Weekend!
Delray Beach’s 50th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will include a festival Friday evening and Saturday, with the Gaelic Brew Irish Folk Band from Cork Ireland Friday night, and Irish bagpipers, dancers, and bands on Saturday. Tim Finnegan’s will also have a lot going on, with the Bangers ‘n Mash Band on Friday and Saturday, an Irish brunch on Saturday, and Kathy & Andreas Durkin along with Irish dancers!
Boca’s big event will be in Mizner Park sponsored by The Dubliner, with My Weekend Therapy at 11 am, Walt Rooney playing at noon, Spider Cherry at 3, and Someday Radio putting on a U2 Tribute performance at night.
